Air China flights

Air China announces the resumption of its operations in Brazil effective December 20, 2009.

The São Paulo – Beijing route, with a stopover in Madrid, Spain, will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. The flight will depart São Paulo at 9:30pm, and arrive in Madrid at 10:35am +1. It will depart Madrid at 12:30pm (noon) for Beijing, and arrive at 7:15am +1.

The flight will offer 34 seats in Business Class and 206 in Economy Class.

Code-share

Air China announces that it will begin code-share flights with TAM on the São Paulo – Beijing route, with a connection in Madrid, Spain, on August 19, 2009.

The São Paulo - Madrid segment will be operated by TAM (flight number CA8002/CA8001) and the Madrid - Beijing segment by Air China (flight number CA908/CA907).

There will be two weekly departures from Brazil.  Flights will depart São Paulo on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8:50pm and arrive in Beijing at 5:05am +2.

Under this code-share agreement, Air China will not sell tickets to destinations in Europe.
